Services

At Vera Solutions, we provide science-driven climate services that transform natural systems into long-lasting carbon sinks. Our work focuses on practical solutions that improve soil health, restore ecosystems, and generate verified ex-ante carbon credits enabling manufacturers and organizations to secure offsets before full project maturity and confidently progress toward their Net Zero targets.

Through innovative land and resource management, we align ecological restoration with corporate sustainability goals, creating a bridge between environmental stewardship and economic value. Our ex-ante carbon credit program offers early-access sustainability benefits, ensuring our partners can take meaningful climate action today while supporting future ecological resilience.

Soil Carbon Management

We use regenerative practices and advanced monitoring to increase the rate at which soils capture and store atmospheric CO₂.

Process:

  • Cover Cropping & Reduced Tillage – increases organic matter inputs and minimizes soil disturbance.

  • Organic Amendments – applying compost, manure, and crop residues to enhance soil carbon stocks.

  • Remote Sensing & Soil Sampling – satellites, drones, and lab analysis to measure soil organic carbon changes.

  • Carbon Modeling Software – predicts sequestration outcomes and calculates verified carbon credits.

Economics:

  • Soil carbon projects generate steady, scalable carbon credits valued at $20–$40 per ton on voluntary markets.

  • A 1,000-hectare project could produce 5,000–15,000 credits annually, representing $100K–$600K in revenue potential.

  • Additional co-benefits: improved crop yields and reduced fertilizer costs increase farmer profitability.

Afforestation & Reforestation

We restore landscapes through tree planting guided by ecological science and digital monitoring.

Process:

  • Land Mapping & Species Selection – GIS tools and ecological surveys match trees to sites.

  • Planting & Maintenance – ensuring high survival rates and long-term ecosystem health.

  • Drone Monitoring – tracks canopy cover and growth rates over time.

  • Allometric Growth Models – calculate above- and below-ground biomass to verify carbon storage.

Economics:

  • Reforestation projects can yield 5–10 carbon credits per hectare annually, with credits priced at $10–$25 in many markets.

  • A 10,000-hectare project can create $500K–$2.5M in annual carbon value, scaling further as trees mature.

  • Beyond credits, forests generate ecosystem service value (water regulation, biodiversity, tourism) that supports long-term economic returns.

Biochar Production

We convert agricultural residues into high-stability biochar through pyrolysis, locking carbon away for centuries while improving soil health.

Process:

  • Biomass Collection – crop residues, forestry waste, and organic by-products.

  • Pyrolysis – heating biomass in a low-oxygen environment to produce carbon-rich biochar.

  • Soil Application – biochar integrated into soils improves structure, nutrient cycling, and water retention.

  • Certification & Verification – life-cycle analysis ensures true carbon-negative performance.

Economics:

  • Each ton of biochar can offset up to 3 tons of CO₂ equivalent, creating high-value credits priced between $100–$200 per ton.

  • Facilities processing 10,000 tons of biomass annually could generate ~$1M–$2M in credit revenue.

  • Farmers benefit from lower input costs (fertilizer, irrigation) and higher yields, creating dual revenue streams.
